Navigate to your account dashboard by signing in using your User ID (email) and password. If you haven't registered for online access, you can register quickly using your account number or service address zip code.
Once logged in, locate the Billing & Payments tab from the main menu. Click on "Make a Payment" or "Pay Now" to proceed to the payment portal. You will see your current balance, due date, and last payment details.
Select whether to pay the full balance, minimum amount due, or enter a custom amount. For past due balances, it is recommended to pay the total amount to avoid service interruptions.
Add or choose a saved payment method. Accepted options include credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and bank account (ACH) transfers. You can securely save payment details for future transactions.
Double-check the payment amount, date, and method. After confirming, you'll receive an instant confirmation number. A receipt will be emailed to the address on file, and your account balance updates immediately.

Download the official DIRECTV app for iOS or Android. Sign in with the same credentials. Tap the "Billing" icon at the bottom menu, then select "Make a Payment". Payments made before 11:59 PM Eastern Time (excluding bank transfers) are generally credited the same business day. ACH payments follow bank processing schedules.
Avoid late payment fees by paying before the due date shown on your bill. Some customers may have a grace period, but consistent late payments may affect account standing.
Set up Auto Pay to avoid manual entry each month. You can choose the payment date (on due date or a few days prior). Cancel anytime without penalty.
